I haven’t really gone into this on my Facebook or Instagram pages, mainly because, like many of you, I am sure, I have found it quite overwhelming.
Before the lockdown, my business had already taken a massive hit as people were cancelling their parties and special events.
I totally understand this and obviously support their decision.
Everyone is rescheduling for later in the year, when hopefully, if we all stay in as we are advised to do so, we can get out of this situation and start to see our loved ones again.
I have been asked numerous times to create some décor and deliver it to their address.
The answer is an unequivocal NO.
I am not doing this to be peevish, goodness knows I could do with the income, but as a balloon professional, not only am I following the government guidelines, but my professional insurance would be invalid as we have been advised by our trade bodies that we should not be trading.
I hope that you all understand this and support my decision. No one should be delivering balloons at this time.
I am, however, available to chat via Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime if you would like to discuss your special event later in the year.
I can also create a virtual design for you using the software I use. Just send me a photo of your room, and we can play around with some designs.
It will be extremely likely that when this pandemic ends, we will all be having massive celebrations, and at every celebration, there will be balloons. If you are thinking of having an event, get ahead of the curve and have a chat now.
With regards to my lovely Brides & Grooms to Be, we have successfully rearranged everyone’s date so far so they can still have their amazing displays.
The downside to this is that there are only so many dates available now for the rest of the year and 2021, so if you are getting married next year, don’t delay; get in touch to secure your date.
It’s just a £50 deposit to secure your date.
