Ive been reminded that it has been some time since I wrote a blog and so much has happened since the Big Balloon Build Birmingham in December 2021
We were still under covid restrictions and the events business was still pretty tough but we weathered the storm and we are still here.
So what’s a summary of the last 3 years?
For me, the trend has been ever more to decorating corporate events and as time has progressed these are becoming larger and more frequent but not to the level pre covid.
Fabulous birthday parties have been great, having the freedom to create wonderfully spectacular balloon displays for people celebrating milestone birthdays has been great fun and I would love this to continue.
Weddings have taken a back seat a little bit as I am not forever posting on Instagram work I have not done; I live in the real world and like to get to know my brides to be as people, so I can create decor they can be proud of in years to come.
December 2023 I again took part in ‘The Big Balloon Build’ this time in London and as Team Leader and what a week we had. Meeting fellow balloonies from all over the world and making friends for life. We also created an amazing show for the people of Guilford and raised thousands of pounds for charities.
Shop openings, company celebrations and a beautiful wedding for a gorgeous couple and this week again being part of the decorating team charged with enchanting the children of Great Ormond St Hospital for their Christmas Parties.
